St. Pete Beach, Florda

Live on St Pete Beach, a Barrier Island on the Gulf of Mexico

St. Pete Beach is in Pinellas County, located on a barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico to the west and the Intracostal Waterway to the east. The pristine white beaches are internationally famed and draw tourists from throughout the world. The residents take considerable civic pride in their beach community and in 1995 voted to shorten the official name to St. Pete Beach to differentiate it from the nearby St. Petersburg Metro Area.

St Pete Beach Features Florida Real Estate, Gulf Beach Living at its Best

  • Quaint beach comber bungalows.
  • Luxurious waterfront homes, and condominiums.
  • Many homes are on the water and all are near to it.
  • Boating, swimming, and deep sea fishing.

This town of approximately 10,000 residents is large enough to have its own dining, shopping, and nightlife choices yet small enough to maintain a genuine Florida Gulf Beach town charm.

A lively Downtown Plus the Famous Don Cesar Resort

The St. Pete Beach Downtown scene is centered around Corey Avenue. Restaurant choices range from fine dining to sandals casual and the town is justifiably renowned for its lively night life. Right on the Gulf is the famed Don Cesar Hotel.

Nicknamed the Pink Lady, the "Don" is a striking blend of Moorish and Mediterranean Revival architecture. It was built during the Florida Land Boom of the Roaring Twenties and is on the National Registry of Historic Places. It served as a playground for such Jazz Age luminaries as Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, Al Capone, Babe Ruth, and Clarence Darrow. It's luxurious rooms, first class service, Gulf beachfront, and striking architecture continue to draw the rich and famous to this day. Unsurprisingly, the hotel has been featured in a number of major motion pictures.

St Pete Beach Features Some of the Best Beaches in the World

St. Pete Beach has some of the finest beaches in the world. The sugary white sands draw visitors from all over the world. All the casual charm of a small Florida beach community, yet large enough to offer it's own dining and nightlife choices.

It is minutes away from the St. Petersburg Metro area replete with many cultural, dining, sporting and recreational choices. So desirable has the Metro Area become that American Style Magazine recently named St. Petersburg the most desirable mid sized city by virtue of ts thriving arts scene. Add the perfect weather and the proximity to the famed attractions of Orlando and St. Pete Beach is one of the most best places to live  in the entire state of Florida.
